He had insurance through the ACA, thankfully.<br />After over 6 months in 4 different hospitals and rehabilitation facilities he finally came home. <br />Now, 2 and a half years later we are still working on his recovery, which I am sure we will be doing for years to come.<br />He is now covered by both Medicare and Medicaid.<br />I left my career to become his fulltime caregiver and now Medicaid covers myself and my children. <br />I am so fearful that we could lose coverage.
